Rationale :

 

It is seen that landed cost of import items by importers tend to increase many fold than what is estimated. This leads to pressure on margins for a trader and high input cost for an Industrial Importer.

 

The reason behind this State of Affairs is the vital inputs not being available with the personnel in import department. They have to be made aware and focused on such vital areas which influence total import procedures.

 

Objective :

 

This One Day Workshop aims at identifying the problem areas connected with imports and prepare the staff for Effective Handling of the issues involved.
