Preamble:
‘Selling is finding needs and filling them’. Going one step further, selling orientation has given way to Marketing effectiveness. We can no more be obsessed with selling. As someone said, ‘The aim of Marketing is to make selling unnecessary.’ The magic of selling is in creating the desire in the customers through their needs and making them act. The process of selling has to be strictly followed and should be followed up with service. The customer is all the more interested in the quality of product and service and like no other times before, the customers are also interested in the quality of the personnel.

 


Objective:
The two - day workshop deliberates on the fast paced changes that are happening in the business world and the discussions will bring out the qualities required in a salesperson of today. The sessions are aimed at equipping the participants with a workable sales approach that can bring success every time.

 


Audience:
The course is designed for all counter salespersons and supervisors who are in the job of meeting, convincing and servicing prospects and customers. The frontline staff can also be encouraged to participate.


Content:
The sessions deal with: The Changed Customer, Qualities of a Salesperson, Communication Skills, Handling Objections, Closing the Sale, Customer Retention and Total Customer Satisfaction.

It is important to believe that FIRST IMPRESSION IS THE BEST IMPRESSION; BUT IT IS ALL THE MORE IMPORTANT THAT LAST IMPRESSION HAS A LASTING IMPRESSION.

 


Faculty:
Mr. G. Balachandran, HRD Consultant and Certification Commissioner for JCI University, U.S.A. He held senior positions in Marketing in Multinational Corporation for over 14 years.
